Sophos has hired Markus Muth to strengthen the booming area of Managed Security Services. Mirko Casarico has been appointed Country Manager for Switzerland.
Markus Muth has been MTR Sales Manager for Central Europe with a focus on the DACH region since October 1, 2021 Sophos. The sales professional with many years of IT and security experience will take care of the expansion of the rapidly growing area of Managed Security Services.
Before moving to Sophos, Muth was most recently active as an Enterprise Account Manager at Trend Micro for over two years. Before that, the trained industrial clerk was Senior Enterprise Account Manager at McAfee Germany for six years. Other stations in his career were Kaspersky Labs and Telefonica.

Mirko Casarico has been active at Sophos as the new Country Manager for Switzerland since October 1, 2021. The business economist has been working in IT sales for over 30 years and is now supposed to drive the consistent alignment of Sophos’ security strategy with a focus on an adaptive cybersecurity ecosystem.
Casarico can draw on over 11 years of management experience at international technology and software companies such as HPE, Colt, Trend Micro and Nutanix. He is now using his expertise in setting up and expanding national and international subsidiaries and teams at Sophos.
