He accused Iran of masterminding… Mossad “thwarts” attacks against Israelis in African countries
Israeli media reported on Sunday that the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) thwarted a series of attacks against Israelis in African countries, accusing Iran of planning them.
The “Times of Israel” newspaper said that the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards tried unsuccessfully to target Israelis in Senegal, Ghana and Tanzania.
For its part, the private “Channel 12” said that 5 people recruited by the Quds Force were arrested in Tanzania, Kenya and Senegal on suspicion of planning to carry out attacks against Israelis.
It claimed that the five detainees were recruited to launch attacks on tourists at the Tanzanian embassy and against businessmen in Senegal and Kenya, where intelligence information was received from Western countries about these plots.
The channel did not specify the date of the arrest of the five people, their nationalities, or the conditions of their detention, and there was no immediate Iranian official comment in this regard.
