After the Egyptian Ali Zain .. Qatar handball player Youssef bin Ali joins Barcelona

The Spanish club Barcelona announced the signing of the circle player in the Qatar national handball team, Youssef Ben Ali, to become the second Arab player in the team’s ranks after the Egyptian star Ali Zain.

And Barcelona said – in an official statement yesterday, Friday – that Ben Ali, aged 34, joined the Blaugrana from Qatar’s Al Arabi Club, for only one month.

The Qatari player – of Tunisian origin – said in statements to the official website of Barcelona: “It is a very special and beautiful feeling. I am very happy to join this club. I came with specific goals, and I want to give my best here.”

A number of tweeters celebrated this move, noting that he is a very special player, and he can provide the addition that the team needs from his first day in Barcelona.

Ben Ali came to Catalonia to compensate for the absence of Portuguese player Luis Frade, who had an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and who will be out as a result of this injury until the end of this year.
