Last month, the Chinese IP telephony specialist Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, also known as ALE SIP Devices, expanded its collaboration with Yeastar and Sipwise. Now the company has presented three new telephones for the desk, which score with large displays, new processors for more performance and improved energy efficiency.
The new models H3P, H3G and H6 expand the Halo series, which previously consisted of the H2 and H2P desk phones. The entry-level models H3P and H3G are equipped with a 2.8-inch monochrome screen that can display four lines of text. The H6 has a color display. All models are provided with a flexible stand so that they can also be placed on the desk.
They are also compatible with the ALE Easy Deployment Server (EDS), the Easy Provisioning Server (EPS) and with SIP platforms such as Broadsoft and Metaswitch. Power can be supplied either via a conventional adapter or via PoE (Power-over-Ethernet).
The H3G and H6 also have two Gigabit-capable ports for fast connection to the network. In addition, thanks to its additional USB port, the H6 can also be used with a headset or a WiFi dongle.
