The management of Cyberport will be strengthened by Kai Hollensteiner on April 1, 2022. Hollensteiner, who currently works for New Work SE (including operator of the Xing platform) as General Counsel and in other functions, will deal with the topics of sales, customer happiness, HR, law and the service business within the management team at Cyberport To take care of. “Thanks to his many years of experience in M&A and PMI, Hollensteiner is an ideal addition to drive the further growth of Cyberport,” the parent company Burda explains in a press release.
Hollensteiner’s current employer, New Work, is also a subsidiary of the Burda Group. Within Cyberport Management, Hollensteiner takes on a number of topics that were previously in Robert Ronai’s area of responsibility. He will therefore be leaving the company at his own request for personal reasons on April 1, 2022. “We would like to thank Robert Ronai for his impressive commitment and wish him all the best, both professionally and privately,” said Burda.
At the end of October, the Burda Group took over the system houses Bizteam and Eickelschulte for its electronics mail order company Cyberport. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the online retailer’s B2B business. Kai Hollensteiner is expressly to take care of this “new service business” in his new role as Cyberport Managing Director.
Cyberport’s management currently consists of René Bittner (Purchasing), Simon Frank (Marketing), László Kovács (E-Commerce and Technology) and Sebastian Westrich (Commercial).
According to EHI Retail’s sales ranking, Cyberport increased by ten percent in 2020 from 565 million euros to 620 million euros, making it the sixth largest electronics mail order company on the German market.
