Digitization of cooperation: New Work growth market – this is how partners open up new business opportunities
Communication and collaboration have changed significantly over the past 18 months. The five-day week in the office is history in many companies, flexible presence models, home offices and hybrid forms of work have gained in importance. “The pandemic has shown how important it is to have a high level of flexibility, which can be achieved through quickly available cloud services and the ability to work from any location,” says Dr. Ralf Ebbinghaus, managing director of the communications specialist Enreach GmbH and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Enreach group of companies. “Companies and users who came into contact with the advantages of the cloud, home office and web conferencing for the first time during the crisis will not want to do without them again when normality returns.”
A location-independent collaboration in distributed teams can only be successfully implemented with the right tools for communication and collaboration. While last year it was primarily about finding solutions quickly in order to remain able to work at all, IT decision-makers are now increasingly looking for products and services that enable employees to work professionally, productively and securely in the home office or in a long-term and sustainable manner enable hybrid models. “Companies are not primarily concerned with using innovative technologies, but rather using digital solutions to further develop their business models and create real added value,” emphasizes Ralf Ebbinghaus. “Specialist dealers and system houses who support their customers with solutions that precisely match their individual requirements will be successful in the long term.”
According to Ebbinghaus, resellers now have the opportunity to position themselves as advisory partners for their customers and to open up new areas of business. “Collaboration is an important topic for many companies, the importance of which will continue to increase in the future. Because even after the corona crisis, collaboration between employees and teams at different locations is becoming more and more common.”
It is crucial for the success of the new work models that employees can be reached on all channels as required. But it is just as important to find new forms of collaboration that do not depend on the physical presence of colleagues in a room. Ideally, both requirements can be seamlessly combined.
The European group Enreach, to which the Dortmund-based company Swyx has also belonged since 2018, offers a wide range of products and services that combine unified communications and collaboration solutions as well as AI-based chat and voicebots with the appropriate connectivity services. The offer will also soon be expanded to include cloud contact center services.
In order to strengthen the common brand presence, Swyx is taking over the name Enreach with immediate effect, but remains as Product brand obtain. “We have grown together as a group of companies, so it is time to come up with a uniform name under one brand umbrella. With the name Enreach, we are clearly showing who we are: the European brand that brings people together,” explains Dr . Ralf Ebbinghaus from Enreach.
With the UC solution from Enreach Employees are always optimally integrated into the communication of a company: They can also access the central telephone book or presence information of their colleagues in the home office or on the move and can – if desired – always be reached under their usual extension. “Processes can be made more efficient, for example by integrating chat or voicebots that quickly process routine tasks such as appointment requests,” adds Ebbinghaus.
With the collaboration solution “Swyx Meeting“The company also offers everything that is needed for web and video conferences with internal and external participants: from screen sharing and file exchange to messaging in private or group chat – all directly in the browser of any PC, tablet or smartphone. Thanks The integration in Microsoft Teams with presence synchronization allows the best of both product worlds to be combined.
For Swyx partners, the joint branding of the Enreach group of companies opens up the possibility of offering and developing new products, opening up additional business areas and target groups and realizing growth opportunities. “Resellers are more than ever required to make the change from a pure technology supplier to a holistic advisory partner for their customers,” says Enreach Managing Director Ebbinghaus, “because they only benefit from the great interest in solutions for the digital workplace if they can deal intensively with the processes of your customers and support them in optimizing them over the long term. “
In addition to the classic on-prem business in the UC environment, that is above all Cloud business with communication solutions, but also with connectivity services and contact center offers of great importance, as it opens up the way for resellers to regularly recurring sales, better customer loyalty and less acquisition effort. “The low investment costs and the quick implementation of cloud solutions enable companies to react flexibly to changed framework conditions, for example last year when they suddenly had to enable their employees to work productively in the home office and to meet customers and partners in person were only possible to a very limited extent, “says Enreach boss Ebbinghaus,” that has made a significant contribution to reducing reservations about the cloud and demonstrating advantages to companies. “
