AGF is increasing its staff in research and technology

“We are happy that we have succeeded in bringing Andrea Schombara, a researcher with a high level of expertise in moving images, to the AGF. We have already come to appreciate your proven market view through your work on the AGF Research Advisory Board. Andrea Schombara not only knows the broadcaster’s point of view, but also that of a research institute and will be a valuable sparring partner for the team heads, ”says Kerstin Niederauer-Kopf, CEO of AGF Video Research, commenting on the personnel.

Andrea Schombara has worked for Tele 5 since 2018, which is now part of Discovery Communications Germany. As Director Media Research she was responsible for all research activities of the station with a focus on audience insights, target group research and strategic program development. Before joining Tele 5, she worked for the media research institute Dcore and for the broadcaster Das Vierte. Before that, the communications scientist worked in audience research at ProSiebenSat.1 marketer Sevenone Media.

So now follows the change to AGF video research, which Schombara comments as follows: “In a market that is constantly in motion and creates new things in ever shorter cycles, the AGF offers reliable orientation based on valid data. The gaze is already directed towards the entire universe of moving images and beyond. This trip involves big tasks and I look forward to challenging projects and a strong team. “

Together with Andrea Schombara, Martin Landgraf is also appointed division manager. Landgraf has been working for AGF since 2013 and is now becoming Director Data & Technology. He started as a project manager and has headed the Metrology and Technology division since 2019. “The AGF has developed at a rapid pace over the past few years. With the knowledge that I can count on a great team full of experts, I am looking forward to the exciting projects and challenges ahead of us ”, says Landgraf, who took his first professional steps after studying media technology and information and communication sciences in local and Made regional television.

With the newly introduced director post, the AGF creates a level between management and team leaders. AGF Videoforschung is thus setting the course for further growth and is pursuing extensive projects such as the integration of return channel data and the measurement of non-video content.

“We are very happy to be tackling the challenges of the future together with such a motivated team across all levels,” said Niederauer-Kopf.
