The Orderchamp shopping platform would also like to turn Black Friday into an event for wholesalers. Business customers therefore get back the margins they gave to their end customers on the B2B marketplace.
For the third time in a row, the online shopping platform Orderchamp is organizing Black Friday as a wholesale event: The B2B marketplace wants to give retailers back the margins they have lost due to Black Friday discounts. During this campaign, Orderchamp subsidizes the discount on all 4,500 member brands. Retailers can use this discount to offset their melted profit margins. The digital event will take place from November 25th to 29th (Cyber Monday).
Through Orderchamp, retailers can purchase products from around 4,500 different European brands for their own stores. In return, brands can present themselves to 75,000 retailers across Europe via the platform. Retailers benefit from favorable purchasing conditions and a low minimum order value, free shipping and discounts of up to 250 euros on the first order.
Commenting on the campaign, CEO Joost Brugmans said: “We know that Black Friday and the pressure that comes with it can be a difficult time for our retailers, so we want to give them back at least some of it by offering them discounts on all of our brands. ” The brands represented on Orderchamp could decide for themselves whether they would increase this price reduction in order to give their year-end business an additional boost. “Like the previous two promotions, Black Friday is the ideal time for many brands to sell their leftover inventory while retailers can improve their margins,” said Brugmans.
In May, Orderchamp received a Series A investment of € 16.5 million from Prime Ventures to expand in Europe. The company has now opened a branch in Berlin. Orderchamp serves customers from all over Europe, including the Benelux countries, Germany and France.
