Al-Ahly defeats Raja and crowns the African Super


Al-Ahly of Egypt was crowned the African Super Cup for the eighth time in its history, after winning 6-5 on penalties against Raja Casablanca of Morocco today, Wednesday, at the World Cup “Ahmed Ben Ali” stadium in Doha.

The original time ended with a 1-1 draw, as Hamid Haddad scored in favor of Raja (12), but Taher Mohamed Taher gave Al-Ahly a tie in the 90th minute, so that the two teams ruled for penalty kicks that smiled at the end for the Egyptian team, which strengthened its record as the most crowned team in the African title .

Al-Ahly continued to chase Real Madrid, in the club’s most crowned international title race, after the red team won its 24th international title by only two titles behind the royal team.
