Raja received special congratulations from King Mohammed VI after winning the African Confederation Cup title at the expense of Algeria’s JS Kabylie last July at Al-Sadaqa Stadium in Cotonou, Benin, after winning 2-1 thanks to goals by Sofiane Rahimi and Ben Malungu.

In the continental crowning campaign, Raja beat the Egyptian Pyramids team on penalties, 5-4, after the two matches ended in a goalless draw, and in the quarter-finals, the Moroccan team defeated the South African Orlando Pirates 5-1 after a 1-1 draw, and then won the second leg with a clean four.
