Israeli Prime Minister: Easing sanctions on Iran could lead to terrorism on a larger scale

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday that providing funds to Iran could lead to “terrorism on a larger scale”; This is in a clear warning that the major countries will ease sanctions on Tehran as it seeks to reach a new nuclear agreement.

Bennett added – in a video speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos – “The last thing you can do … is to pump tens of billions of dollars into this system, because what you will get is terrorism on a larger scale.”

He stressed that Iran is a funder of terrorism and a source of destabilization in the region, and sends weapons to the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah, and it appears to the world that it is a strong country, but it is weaker than it appears, as he put it.
