Atera, provider of a platform for Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) and Professional Service Automation (PSA), uses the successful financing round of 77 million dollars at the end of 2021 to position itself better and more broadly in terms of sales. This is also noticeable in the support of the German market: The regional manager responsible for the DACH region, Jan van der Marel, can fall back on the support of Martin Jäger and Isabel Deufel in the future.
Martin Jäger is new on board as Organic Growth Manager in the DACH region, Isabel Deufel now supports the existing Customer Success Team. In this way, Atera intends to respond faster and more specifically to local customer requirements in the future.

“I am looking forward to expanding the German market for Atera,” says Jäger. “There is a lot of work ahead of us, and at the same time the current market situation offers immense opportunities. We want and will in the coming months have even more German IT professionals and MSPs win for Atera. In close cooperation with the customers, we always want to find new ways to simplify their workflows in terms of IT management and monitoring.”
With its cloud platform, Atera is aimed at MSPs and medium-sized system houses. “As the global IT market has changed, the fast and easy provision of IT services is more important than ever to keep companies running smoothly,” says van der Marel, who has been building up the Germany business since spring 2021.
“From the beginning, Atera’s goal was to make IT easy, freeing professionals from routine tasks so that customers can instead focus on the projects that really matter,” emphasizes van der Marel. The provider sees an immense need, especially in countries such as Germany, which are characterized by medium-sized companies. The reinforcement of the German team should help to serve the now.
