Ingram Micro Germany is a sponsor of the for a period of 15 months Paderborn E-Sports eV. Its training rooms are located in the building of IM partner Unilab, where the teams also have access to a gym, among other things. The opening of the new training area will be live on January 29, 2022 at 3 p.m with this link broadcast on Twitch.
In the e-sports center at Unilab five rooms are available to the e-athletes. In addition to two gaming rooms, there is one specially designed for streaming tournaments, as well as a meeting and auditorium. In exchange for the five Dell Alienware Aurora with Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Super and the Dell S2421HGF gaming monitors, the club’s gamers will wear the Unilab and Ingram Micro logos on their jerseys for the period of the sponsorship.
“We founded Paderborn E-Sports eV as a contact point for everyone who wants to compete in e-sports, develop or just want to make new contacts,” says Jürgen Janke, Chairman of Paderborn E-Sports eV “With our training center, we now a meeting point. Thanks to the cooperation with Unilab and Ingram Micro, we have high-quality gaming spaces available there that promote gaming fun.”
In addition to the media training rooms, Paderborn E-Sports eV also has a fitness area for physical training available in cooperation with Unilab and other tenants. This supports the holistic promotion of e-sports gaming through fitness and nutrition as well as social and technical skills.
Uwe Strohbach, CEO of Unilab AG, explains: “Gaming also requires physical fitness. That’s why we not only support the athletes with virtual training, but also offer them the opportunity to train in our in-house fitness studio.”
