Liverpool continues its victories in the Premier League and reduces the difference with Man City

Liverpool strengthened its position in the English Premier League standings, after beating its host Crystal Palace 3-1 – today, Sunday – in the 23rd stage of the competition.

At the same stage, Arsenal fell into a goalless draw with its guest Burnley, and Brighton drew with Leicester City 1-1.

Liverpool advanced in the eighth minute through Virgil van Dijk, before Alex Chamberlain added the second goal (32).

In the 55th minute, Odson Edward scored Crystal Palace’s goal, but Fabinho added the third goal for Liverpool (90 from a penalty kick).

Liverpool raised its score to 48 points in second place, nine points behind leaders Manchester City, knowing that Liverpool played 22 games, while City played 23 games.

Liverpool, whose Egyptian stars Mohamed Salah and Senegalese Sadio Mane are absent, are 4 points away from Chelsea, who played 23 games.

Crystal Palace’s balance froze at 24 points in thirteenth place.

In another match, Arsenal fell into a goalless draw with its guest, Burnley.

Arsenal raised his score to 36 points in sixth place after playing only 21 games, a point behind West Ham, fifth, who played 23 games, and two points behind Manchester United, who finished fourth, who played 22 games.
