Channel Trends + Visions (CTV) was the last major broadliner in-house exhibition in Germany. But the last two events had to be moved to virtual space due to Corona. The industry has been eagerly awaiting the decision as to whether Also will return to an on-site format this year.
Also CEO Gustavo Möller-Hergt assumed in his keynote speech on virtual CTV last year that future events such as CTV will be staged as “hybrid” events (ChannelPartner reported).
Now it has been rumored from manufacturer circles that there will only be a virtual format this year. Also responded to a corresponding request from ChannelPartner with a “Safe the Date” letter. It states that this year’s CTV will take place as a “hybrid event” under the motto “Transform to perform”.
However, the channel community in this country will not come together in a large exhibition hall followed by a party. So, if the pandemic situation allows, we are planning a central on-site event in Warsaw as well as virtual events in the countries that will be combined in one live stream.
The date of May 19, 2022, which has already been communicated, remains in place. The focus should be on the change in the industry with the core topics of sustainability in IT and the future of XaaS. The opening keynote will again be taken over by So boss Möller-Hergt. So wants to announce further details “soon”.
