The Chinese company Xiaomi has presented its new Redmi Note 11 series. The product line includes four smartphone models that differ in some specifications. What they all have in common, however, is the new angular housing design, which is strongly reminiscent of Apple’s iPhones.
The highest quality model in the new series is the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The smartphone has an AMOLED screen with 1080p, 6.67 inches and 120 Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 695 with 5G support from Qualcomm works in the case. The integrated battery with 5,000 mAh supports fast charging with 67 watts. The triple rear camera consists of a 108-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a two-megapixel macro camera. The front camera has a resolution of two megapixels.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro is almost identical to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Here, however, Xiaomi uses the Helio G96 processor from Mediatek, which does not support 5G technology. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the only smartphone from the new series that comes with 5G support.
The entry-level model is called Redmi Note 11. It offers an AMOLED screen with 1080p, 6.43 inches and 90 Hz. Xiami has installed the Snapdragon 680 in the housing. The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and this model only supports fast charging with up to 33 watts. The Redmi Note 11S comes with the same display and identical fast charging options. Here, however, Xiaomi has donated a main camera with 108 megapixels.
All four smartphones also have a classic headphone jack and up to 128 gigabytes of internal memory. The Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S are expected to be available later this month. The Redmi Note 11 pro and the Redmi Note Pro 5G will then appear in February. Xiaomi wants to announce prices for Germany in the next few days. (PC world)
